Let’s face it - we’re all on a quest to have better sex. But a lot of us don’t really know how to get there. Discover everything you need when it comes to finding that elusive spot, getting better at foreplay, and mixing it up with role-playing.

Why She Doesn’t Feel Like Doing It

Nothing puts a damper on a sex life like when a partner consistently isn’t in the mood. This can prove to be a complicated and frustrating problem for many couples, but the real issue is not solving it, but figuring out what’s causing the sexual blues.

One woman wrote to writer Jenny Block and tried to explain why women are so often the ones who don’t feel like doing the dirty.

Why she doesn't feel like doing it“Most women are tired,” she said. “They are the wage earners, the dominant parent, and the primary caretaker of the home. The husband might be willing to be responsible, but only if you ask him. So the wife is tired and consequently really doesn’t have the energy or interest required to participate in their sex life. She may also be a little bit resentful that so much falls into her tired lap. So, the husband may just consider taking up more of the slack or just giving her a whole day off every Saturday or something like that.”

So trying to appreciate that she doesn’t want to do everything in the house could be a good place to start, but that’s not always the conflict. Bock explains that there are other times where a woman just doesn’t feel good about her body or simply isn’t attracted to her partner anymore. Stress can also play a part in a low libido, so whether there are work worries, health issues or a problem with the kids, there’s a chance that she won’t feel like knocking boots, either.

Sub-par sex may be the cause as well. If you and your partner have been having a little more trouble in the bedroom lately, it may be time to spice things up with accessories like LifeStyles™ warming lubricant or vibrating ring.
